Titus is told to if he cuts off his hand he will spare his sons from being killed. He is tricked by Aaron. He stated "Lend thy hand, and I will give you mine". Titus sons Quintus and Martius is severed. Why is Titus laughing when he realize this tragedy?
I think this is a sign that Titus is starting to loose his mind due to all the pain he's suffered so far. He's starting to break.
