Act 1 & 2 of Titus Andronicus

Why does it seem like Tamora is so spiteful? and although Aaron is in love with Tamora, is he manipulating her?

    I think Tamora is so spiteful because her sons have been murdered by Titus. Aaron seems to care more about power than Tamora.

    I concur with Allison. Also, remember that Tamora was the Queen of the Goths and she was defeated and captured by Titus.
