It seems like the man in the short story is tired of being " The Man". He is tired of working all day long. He wants to be with his children more also have time for himself. It seems also as if he wants to be more feminine then masculine. Why does he want to be feminine? it seems alittle embarressing to me
I dont think the man wants to be feminine. Nothing is wrong with him spending time with his children. He feels left out of his family activities and everything involved in there lives. As a result of not spending time with them he feels like hes not a good father and he really wants to be there for them.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the person above. I find nothing wrong with wanting to spend time with family. It is important to have a father figure in childrens's lives.
ReplyDeleteI think that if he wants to spend time with his children then allow him so at least his children will have quality time with their father. Also, the mom isn't that good for a mom after all because she is only caring about herself.
