To His Coy Mistress
The gentleman in this short poem is definitely very masculine. He has a sweet side to him where he expresses his feelings and emotions towards the lady who seems to be very shy. On the the other hand, he has a very sexual romantic side where he uses that to his advantage into having sexual intimate relations with the woman. Do you agree that this is the reason for his romantic masculine verbal expressions?

While your interpretation of the poem- the man's desire to engage in relations with the woman- is great, I'm interested in your observation regarding the speaker's, the man's expression of his feelings for the lady. In which lines does the speaker say how he feels about her?
