Men and women ARE more different than same?
This is just a brief summary of the study which I came across on RedOrbit, but the actual has been published in online journal, PLoS ONE. According to this study, conducted by researchers at the University of Turin, only 18% men and women have similar personalities. Researchers came to this conclusion after having 5,000 women and 5,000 men complete a personality test. While the researchers from Turin claim that they used a new method, more accurate approach to assessing the results of the study. But a professor from University of Wisconsin is skeptical about the results as she points out that the people who participated in the study may have submitted answers which fit in with gender stereotypes(i.e. men said they were dominant, women said they were sensitive).
