"feminine heterosexual men"

While I was reading this journal, a question popped into my mind, if a man with feminine characteristics is considered to be gay, than does a woman with manly, or more masculine characteristics is considered to be a lesbian?

  1. This is an excellent question. What do you think, how do we perceive women who are dominant, opinionated, single, successful...? Do we hold them up as an example of femininity and sexual appeal, or do we see them as un-feminine, undesirable?

  2. well from my point of view, I think in our society we tend to like the women who are dominant, opinianated, single and successful, we tend to like the fact that they are powerful and independent, the society credits them for being successful. In contrast, it's the opposite when it comes to men being caring, loving and understanding, that's when they are called "gay" or "feminine heterosexual men"
