Do you guys think the beginning of this play shows off what happened in real life with Rome, with the conflict over the thrown the lust for power leads to down fall?
Shakespeare did draw on other texts which told the story of Titus Andronicus; but in order to determine whether Titus was a histroical figure and the events in the play are based on history would require research.
